Eric with friends Kelo and Lucky |
Welcome to my site! I've been a writer since I learned how to hold a pencil. Writing is not just my hobby, it's my obsession. I feel exactly as Isaac Asimov did when he said, "If the doctor told me I had just six minutes to live, I'd type a little faster."
I grew up in the New England area, joined the Army when I was 18, achieved the rank of Master Sergeant, and devoted the next 25 years to peacetime and war-scarred military service. Extensive foreign and domestic travel, meeting and getting to know people of all backgrounds and a vast array of life's experiences gave me the opportunity to create and write short stories and major works of fiction. My stories are fast-paced and my characters are strong, larger than life and reflect courage, a broad range of emotions and the ability to overcome obstacles.

My writings draw on my actual experiences, as well as on my imagination. Mother Superior's Secret, my first novel, was published in 2003 and met with immediate success. Bobby's Girl (The Diner), has just been published and has already received outstanding reviews. My style of writing has been compared to O. Henry's.
Lucky and Kelo, pictured with me, are my faithful companions. I'm a serious people-person and enjoy nothing more than interacting with people of all ages, in all walks of life. I'd like very much to receive your comments, observations, anything you'd care to share.
